Italian artist Filippo Pedrini was born in Bologna,Italy in 1763. Pedrini was the son of artist Domenico Pedrini and studied at the Accademia Clementina in Bologna. In his career he created many frescoes in Bologna for which he is best known. Pedrini was a late practitioner of the Bolognese School which focused on traditional Roman themes mixed with modern day innovations. Pedrini passed away in 1844.
