Tuesday Art ATTACK- Edwin Georgi “Ship's Pool”

American illustrator Edwin Georgi was born in 1896. Georgi was known for his beautifully colorful and poignant work. Georgi had a very successful career doing illustrations for all the major magazines like Cosmo, Esquire, and The Saturday Evening Post. This painting is titled "Ship's Pool" and was painted in gouache. Georgi passed away in 1964.
